Anna Morozkina was born in Ekaterinburg (Russia). She studied at the Moscow State Conservatory and obtained her Bachelor Performance degree in 2015. Simultaneously she worked at the Moscow Academic Music Theater as an artist of orchestra for the seasons 2012-2014. She collaborates with ensembles such us the Balthasar-Neumann-Ensemble, the Orchestra La Scintilla, MusicAeterna (Russia), Zürcher Barockorchester, Musique des Lumieres, the Hassler Consort (Germany) and Solamente Naturali (Slovakia).
Anna was part of the ‘Arts Flo Junior’ program with the orchestra Les Arts Florissants in 2015, working under the direction of William Christie, and she has been invited to play with them several times ever since. As a chamber musician and soloist, she was recently invited to perform at the ‘Festival Alte Musik’ in Zürich and she is currently studying a Master Specialized in Chamber Music (Duo) at the Zürcher Hochschule der Kunste with Ilya Gringolts, Ulrich Koella and Monika Baer.
She has received coaching from musicians such as Thomas Albert, Veronika Skuplik, Anne Katharina Schreiber, Clive Brown and Nigel Clayton. Anna has worked under the direction of important conductors worldwide, such as Thomas Hengelbrock, Teodor Currentzis, Raphael Pichon, William Christie, Riccardo Minasi, Facundo Agudin, Milos Valent and Felix Korobov.
